Yes — a credit card is required to activate AI messaging on your properties. You can sign up and configure Guestar immediately. There is no free trial period.

Portfolio includes unlimited AI guest messaging, 24/7 multilingual responses, a teachable knowledgebase, and team access. Professional adds automated upsells (early check-in, late check-out, booking extensions), actionable analytics, and priority support — and is applied per-property the moment you turn on any upsell. Properties without upsells stay on the Portfolio rate.

Each property is billed independently based on its own settings. If you have 10 active properties and turn on automated upsells for 2 of them, you pay the Portfolio rate on all 10 plus the Professional Add-ons rate on the 2. The math: 10 × $1 + 2 × $3 = $16/month annually (or 10 × $2 + 2 × $6 = $32/month monthly). Changes prorate automatically.

Yes — you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your AI messaging will stop at the end of your current billing period. Your property data, knowledge base, and conversation history remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export anything you need.
