Create an account at app.guestar.ai.
Get Hostaway Details
In your Hostaway account, navigate to Settings > Account details to find your Hostaway Account ID.
Create API Key
Navigate to Settings > Hostaway API tab and click Create. Name the new API key "Guestar" and select either the Hostaway Public API or Guestar's API.
Connect
Copy and paste these credentials into the Guestar sign-up form and click Test Connection. Select your preferred timezone and currency.
Navigate to app.guestar.ai and enter your credentials to access your dashboard.
Go to the Properties menu to manage listings synced from Hostaway.
Provide detailed knowledge for the AI, such as WiFi details, Parking instructions, and Check-in guides.
Set default prices and rules (e.g., hours in advance) for Early Check-in and Late Check-out.
Enable AI Messaging, Early Check-in, Late Check-out, and Booking Booster for each property.
Set account-wide timezone, currency, and account security (password/email).
Navigate to the USERS tab to invite team members as Admins, Managers, or Staff.
Group properties (e.g., by city) for easier assignment and organization.
